Kampung Annah Rais opens its longhouse for a community-led Gawai celebration rooted in Bidayuh traditions. The two-day event features an open house experience, cultural performances, Dayung Sangun Beauty Pageant, community bazaar, laser light show, Coca-Cola AR Gawai experience and a Coca-Cola mural convoy in partnership with Grab on June 1.

Bunga 2026

Resorts World Awana presents Bunga 2026, its inaugural flower festival in Genting Highlands. The festival features curated floral exhibitions, an orchid showcase and international competition, rare plant exhibitions, educational orchid workshops, sustainable marketplace experiences, F&B pop-ups, plant auctions and displays by international floral exhibitors.

Dungun Sarong Fun Run 4.0

The community in Dungun is set to come together once again for the Dungun Sarong Fun Run 4.0, a culturally inspired fun run that has grown into an annual gathering for the local community. Originally introduced to give rural residents the opportunity to experience a casual running event – typically more common in urban areas – the programme has since evolved into a platform that promotes inclusivity and community engagement by introducing the unique concept of running in traditional sarongs. In addition to the main run, several side activities will be held, including colouring contests aimed at engaging children and families.

A Tribute to Sharifah Aini

The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra presents A Tribute to Sharifah Aini, a concert celebrating the legacy of Biduanita Negara Datuk Sharifah Aini. Conducted by Ahmad Muriz Che Rose, the programme features Datuk Khadijah Ibrahim, Salamiah Hassan, Asmidar and Shiha Zikir performing songs from Sharifah’s extensive catalogue across pop, ballad, traditional, film and English-language works.

The Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show returns for its 11th edition with the theme “Beyond Mobility”, featuring automotive showcases, launches, technologies and displays from local and global brands. Weekday admission is free for all categories, while Friday, weekend and public holiday tickets are RM30 for adults, RM15 for senior citizens, OKU visitors and students and free for children below 12.

The Lion: Rise of a New Dawn

Inspiros International School presents The Lion: Rise of a New Dawn, a charity musical production in support of the National Cancer Society of Malaysia. The production brings together young performers and community supporters, with fundraising efforts also including a Charity Bazaar and CSR activities led by the school’s Leo Club members.

CIMB Padel Open

CIMB Padel Open brings players of different levels together for a three-day tournament across beginner, intermediate, upper intermediate and pro categories for men and women. The tournament features 128 teams, with rounds leading to the semi-finals and grand finals at Ascaro TREC, alongside a RM50,000 cash prize pool and merchandise.
