Thee Sacred Soul’s Groove-led single revisits recordings from 2024 album.
MODERN soul outfit Thee Sacred Souls has released Any Old Fool, a previously unreleased track from the recording sessions of its 2024 album Got a Story to Tell.
The single, now available on streaming platforms, revisits Thee Sacred Souls’ signature blend of classic soul and contemporary groove, built around funk-driven guitars, a steady bassline and frontman Josh Lane’s smooth vocal delivery.
Any Old Fool revisits earlier sessions
Originally recorded during the Got a Story to Tell sessions, Any Old Fool is framed as a dancefloor-ready track centred on themes of love.

The band’s 2024 album, released in October, featured 12 original tracks written by Alejandro Garcia, Salvador Samano and Lane, and was recorded at Penrose Recorders with producer Gabriel Roth.
Drawing from influences such as Brazilian composer Arthur Verocai, soul group The Delfonics and Motown singer Mary Wells, the album reflected the group’s growth during a period of increased touring and visibility.
Asia tour ahead
Thee Sacred Souls is set to make its Asia debut next month as part of its Live For You 2026 tour.
Scheduled stops include Singapore’s The Capitol Theatre on May 26 and Jakarta’s Java Jazz Festival on May 29, alongside additional dates across Japan, South Korea and China.
The run will be followed by a larger the US tour titled The Constellation Tour.
Rising profile in modern soul
The band currently attracts more than 8.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify, with tracks such as Can I Call You Rose? and Will I See You Again? achieving hundreds of millions of streams and strong traction on social platforms.
The band’s rise has also led to festival appearances at events such as Coachella, Lollapalooza and Glastonbury, as well as collaborations and support slots with artistes including Kali Uchis.
