Acclaimed producer launches a new era with euphoric single Return To Bhibo following standout US festival appearances
Electronic producer and DJ Barry Can’t Swim returns with his first new music of 2026, Return to Bhibo, a euphoric and emotionally-charged track that also comes on the heels of two huge US festival performances at Lightning In A Bottle and Movement last weekend.
The track ushers in a defining new chapter for Barry Can’t Swim after he cemented himself as one of electronic music’s key figures by selling out headline shows across the globe whilst delivering defining performances at major international festivals.
As a DJ and songwriter, Barry Can’t Swim has built a global following through his unique blend of jazz-infused house, euphoric club music and emotionally rich songwriting, along with the renown from his electrifying live performances.

Global breakthrough to new chapter
Early this year, the Edinburgh-born producer and DJ contributed the first instalment in five years to the prestigious Late Night Tales series as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations. In the past few years before then, he has headlined shows around the world, including three consecutive nights at London’s O2 Academy Brixton, All Points East and even Glastonbury.
Beyond his own releases, including 2023’s Mercury-nominated debut When Will We Land, he has established himself as a key curator within electronic music through his Earth’s Only Paradise imprint championing emerging artists including O’Flynn, SHEE and Sam Alfred, alongside curating Manchester’s Warehouse Project.
With Return To Bhibo, Barry Can’t Swim once again demonstrates why he remains one of the most exciting and influential voices in modern electronic music, setting the stage for what promises to be a landmark new era.
