For a limited time, the Perodua QV-E is now priced at RM 87,499 for outright purchase, which includes the vehicle and battery.

Perodua has revised the pricing for the QV-E, as the company says localisation has increased. For a limited time, the Perodua QV-E is now priced at RM 87,499 for outright purchase, which includes the vehicle and battery. Customers can also choose the Battery as a Service (BaaS) package, which lowers the vehicle price to RM 63,499, with a monthly battery subscription fee of RM 215 including tax for nine years.

This limited-time offer is valid until 30 September 2026.

After the offer period, the QV-E will be priced at RM 93,999 for outright purchase, or RM 69,999 for the body-only option with BaaS. The monthly BaaS fee remains RM 215 including tax for nine years.

When the QV-E was first introduced, it was priced at RM 80,000 on-the-road without insurance, excluding the EV battery. The battery was previously offered through the BaaS package at RM 275 per month.

For existing QV-E customers, Perodua says the monthly BaaS fee will be reduced from RM 275 to RM 215, with the new monthly payment taking effect from the next payment cycle. Existing customers will also receive a special refund and will be contacted by their respective sales advisors.

According to Perodua, the revised pricing follows increased localisation involving Perodua and its local vendor ecosystem. The company says a significant number of parts can now be manufactured locally, reducing dependence on foreign technology and supply chains.

Perodua says this also helps build a more resilient spare parts inventory, especially for body parts, while supporting local jobs. Production of the QV-E has also been increased to more than 500 units a month.

The BaaS package includes comprehensive protection coverage for the battery, battery disposal and replacement, as well as battery insurance throughout the nine-year leasing period. For customers who buy the QV-E outright, Perodua says it will offer to buy back the battery when it eventually needs to be disposed of.

As a quick recap, the QV-E is powered by a front-mounted motor producing 204 PS and 285 Nm. It does 0-100 km/h in 7.5 seconds, making it Perodua’s most powerful and quickest-accelerating model to date, with a top speed of 165 km/h.

The motor is paired with a 52.5 kWh CATL lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. Perodua quotes a driving range of up to 445 km on the NEDC cycle, depending on driving style, temperature and road conditions.

For charging, the QV-E supports DC fast charging at up to 60 kW, taking the battery from 30 to 80% in 30 minutes. AC charging is rated at 6.6 kW, with a full 0 to 100% charge taking around eight hours.
