PETALING JAYA: Pickleball enthusiasts, prepare your paddles! The Oriental Daily News Malaysia Open 2026 is set to unite players, families, and sports fans for a weekend of competitive action and community spirit at the Grand Pickleball Arena in Shah Alam from June 12 to 14.

As one of the year’s premier pickleball events, the tournament is expected to attract participants from across the country.

The event boasts a total prize pool exceeding RM70,000 and is supported by an extensive lineup of corporate partners.

In the Junior division, the Boys’ Singles champion will receive RM600 in cash, along with a two-day, one-night stay at LEGOLAND Resort with triple park tickets worth RM2,380, a Gintell eye massager, a VitaHealth gift box, as well as a trophy and medal. Runner-ups and third-place winners will also receive cash prizes, accommodation packages and medals.

For Junior Open Gender Doubles, champions will take home RM600 in cash, a LEGOLAND stay with park tickets worth RM4,760, two Gintell eye massagers, a VitaHealth gift box, and trophies and medals.

In the Novice category, champions across Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Doubles will receive RM1,600 in cash, alongside prizes including Gintell eye massagers, VitaHealth gift boxes, trophies and medals. Women’s Doubles winners will also receive additional vouchers from Novela Apparel.

The Intermediate division offers RM2,000 in cash for champions in each doubles category, along with similar prize packages. Women’s Doubles winners will receive additional Novela Apparel vouchers.

In the Open division, champions of Men’s and Mixed Doubles will each take home RM3,500 in cash, Skechers Viper Court Pro 2.0 shoes, Gintell massagers, VitaHealth gift boxes, trophies and medals. Runner-ups and third-place winners will also receive cash prizes and Skechers apparel.

All participants will receive an exclusive event jersey and a goodie bag valued at over RM130.
